Perennial, rhizomatous plant growing up to 4 feet tall. Grows in full sun to part shade and slightly dry to medium soils. Pink flowers are visited by bees, butterflies, skippers, ruby-throated hummingbird and hummingbird moths. Blooms to June to July.
