Salvia azurea - Blue Sage
Perennial growing up to 5 feet tall. Grows in full sun and dry to medium soils. Prefers medium soils with good drainage. Will often flower the first year the plant establishes. The showy blue flowers attract long-tongued bees, butterflies, and skippers. Blooms August to September. Species: Salvia azurea Gentian family: Lamiaceae
