Mertensia virginica- Bluebells
Perennial, clump-forming plant that grows up to 2 feet tall. Grows in part shade to full shade and moist soils. The tubular flowers are visited by long-tongued bees, ruby-throated hummingbirds, skippers, and sphinx moths. Foliage dies back by mid-summer. Blooms April to May.
