    Perennial plant growing up to 2 feet tall. Grows best in full sun and medium to dry soils. Has deep-set rhizomes and good drought tolerance. Brilliant, orange flowers attract a range of pollinators, including butterflies, ruby-throated hummingbird, and a range of bee species. The species has good deer resistance. Blooms May to September.
