Scutellaria incana - Downy Skullcap
Perennial growing up to 3 feet. Grows in full sun to part shade and dry to medium soils. Tolerates drought clay and dry soil. Blue flowers bloom from July to September and attract primarily bumblebees. Other pollinators such as skippers and small butterflies also visit the flowers. Foliage is largely resistant to mammal browsing.
