Euonymus americanus

Suckering, Deciduous shrub. Grows 4-6 ft tall in partial shade and medium, well-drained soils. Will tolerate nearly full shade. Spreads by rhizomes. Green-yellow flowers May-June which produce showy red fall fruits.  Fall color variable from shades of yellow to red.
