Pycnanthemum verticillatum - Hairy Mountain Mint
Perennial growing up to 4 feet tall. Grows in full sun to partial sun and moist to slightly dry soils. The plant tolerates many soil types and the foliage is quite fragrant. The nectar rich, white flowers attract a wide range of bees, butterflies and skippers. Mammalian herbivores tend to avoid the plant. Blooms from July to September.
