Perennial growing up to 4 feet. Grows in full sun and medium soils. Likes well-drained soil but tolerates wet and clay soils. Pink flowers bloom from June to September and attract a variety of bees and hummingbirds. Spreads by rhizomes. Foliage is resistant to deer browsing.
