Echinacea purpurea - Purple Coneflower
Perennial plant growing up to 5 feet tall. Grows in full sun to part shade and dry to medium soils. Tolerates drought fairly well and self seeds once established. Purple flowers are visited by butterflies, a range of bees, and by hummingbirds. American Goldfinch eat the seeds. Blooms from June to August.
