Saururus cernuus - Lizard's Tail

Herbaceous perennial growing up to 3 feet. Grows best in light shade but tolerates fairly shady conditions. Grows in wet soils. White flowers bloom in June and July. Foliage is not browsed by mammalian herbivores. Naturally occurs in colonies where conditions are suitable.
