Perennial plant growing up to 4 feet tall. Grows in full sun to partial sun and dry to medium soils. An important late-blooming species for pollinators. The blue-purple flowers attract butterflies, skippers, a wide assortment of bees, and other pollinators for pollen and/or nectar.
