Echinacea paradoxa - Yellow Coneflower

Perennial plant growing up to 3 feet tall. Grows in full sun and dry to mesic soils. This is the only species in the genus, Echinacea, with yellow flowers. Goldfinch eat the seeds, and bees, butterflies, and skippers visit the flowers. Blooms from May to July.
